That's Jane Fonda?!

The stunning acting legend stepped out for Sunday night's Primetime Emmy Awards and we barely recognized her when she hit the red carpet.

The 79-year-old actress donned a completely new hairstyle -- a long, high ponytail and severe-looking bangs -- that had us doing a major double-take as she confidently posed for photographers. We're used to Fonda rocking her signature, '70s-inspired shoulder-length hairdo that she's made so famous.

Clad in a hot pink, long-sleeved gown that she paired with a silver clutch and silver pumps, Fonda was a total vision as she proved that it's never too late to try something new. She finished off her red carpet look with some elegant diamond-and-emerald earrings and a matching necklace that hung down her back as an unexpected surprise.

The legendary actress has had a bit of a career resurgence in recent years thanks to her hit Netflix show "Grace & Frankie," which she stars on opposite Lily Tomlin.
