Stock market update: Nifty IT index advances 0.11% in an upbeat market - The Economic Times

NEW DELHI: The Nifty IT index traded positive around 10:04AM(IST)on Tuesday in an upbeat market.
Infosys(up 1.13 per cent), Persistent Systems(up 0.82 per cent) and HCL Technologies(up 0.32 per cent) were among the top gainers.

LTIMindtree Ltd(down 1.88 per cent), Coforge(down 0.94 per cent), L&T Technology(down 0.83 per cent), Tech Mahindra(down 0.65 per cent) and MPhasis(down 0.57 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

The Nifty IT index was up 0.11 per cent at 31075.7 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 53.95 points at 19765.4, while the BSE Sensex was up 202.29 points at 66792.22.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 25 were trading in the green, while 24 were in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, PNB, AmaraRaja Batteries and Brightcom Group were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Anmol India, We Win, Neuland Labs, Integrated Personnel and Schneider hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Uravi T and Wedge, Synoptics Technologi, Jet Airways, Bombay Metrics Suppl and Aartech Solonics hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
