KUALA LUMPUR: A 34-year-old man was found dead at an entertainment outlet at Taman Connaught here after attending a birthday party there with some friends.
Cheras OCPD Asst Comm Chong Kok Sin said police were alerted about the incident at 12.25pm on Sunday.
ACP Chong said when policemen arrived at the scene, they found the victim lying in front of a room at the entertainment outlet.
He added that witnesses said that the victim had gone to the entertainment outlet at 11.40pm on Saturday with some of his friends for a birthday party.
ACP Chong said it was believed that the employees did not check the area where the victim was found when they were closing the premises.
He added that police also did not find any injuries or bruises on the victim and there were no criminal elements found.
The body was sent to the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Medical Centre (PPUKM) for a post-mortem while the case has been classified as a sudden death.
